CVRL will host a set of free, fun soccer activities in the Wyman Park dell for children and teens throughout the morning on Saturday, June 1. The activities will begin with a soccer clinic for younger kids, ages 4 to 8, from 9:30-11 AM that will include games, drills, and informal scrimmages. From 11 AM until 12:30 PM kids ages 9 to 16 are invited to participate in drills and scrimmages as well as a 3v3 tournament. The activities will be led by CVRL coaches and parents along with surprise guests.
CVRL is an all-volunteer organization whose purpose is to provide recreational sports for school-aged children and youth in Baltimore in an environment that emphasizes fun, skills, teamwork and sportsmanship. It was founded in 1993 by a group of Charles Village parents with 20 Charles Village kids participating and has now grown to 400+ kids from throughout Baltimore.
